David Myers (born September 8, 1957) and Simon "Si" King (born October 20, 1966) are collectively known as Hairy Bikers, a British television presenter who has headed the Hairy Bikers' , The Hairy Bikers Ride Again , The Hairy Bakers , The Hairy Bikers Food Tour in England , Hairy Hairwreck Mother Knows the Best , Food Hairy Bikers on Wheels , The Best Hairy Bikers from the UK , Hairy Hair Bidation >, < i> Hairy Pickers: How to Liked Food and Lose Weight , The Hairy Asian Bikers Adventure , The Hairy North Hair Bikers Exposure and the Hairy Bikers Pub Built in England for BBC Two, and The Hairy Bikers' Mississippi Adventure for Healthy Food.

Biography
Both Myers and King have backgrounds in TV and film production. Myers is a professional make-up artist, specializing in prosthetics, while King serves as location manager on many productions including Harry Potter and Byker Grove movies.
They met in 1992 on the set of a TV drama titled The Gambling Man based on Catherine Cookson's novel. King is the second assistant director and Myers is head of prosthetics, hair and make-up on production. Both have a Che Guevara tattoo on his right arm. Simon King is a Newcastle United supporter.

The duo appeared on the BBC The Hairy Bikers' Cookbook . Their TV shows are a mixture of cuisine and travel, using formats and styles similar to those previously associated with Keith Floyd, including frequent habits referring to cameramen and other crew. Most events feature a pair of motor riders, including the BMW R1200GS, F650GS and Triumph Rocket III. The show also features elements of the Two Fat Ladies format, including the usual banter between two stars, the use of unusual cooking locations and the use of motorcycles.
The pair has appeared in several episodes Kitchen Saturday on the BBC, as well as at Richard & amp; Judy on Channel 4. They both appear in the special chef of the The Weakest Link and in the premiere episode James Martin Brittany with Saturday Kitchen < i> presenter James Martin.
In the summer of 2009 they filmed a 30-part series of daylight for BBC Two, The Hairy Bikers' Food Tour of Britain , which aired the working day beginning on August 24, 2009. The series saw them visiting different areas every day and cook what they perceive as typical dishes of the area.
In October 2009, filming a BBC Christmas show featuring Hairy Bikers was stopped after King was injured in an accident on Tyneside. King got off his bike when a car pulled out in front of him, as he was driving through Gosforth during rush hour. Her TV counterpart Dave Myers was a little way behind her. The king was taken to Newcastle General Hospital for treatment of bruises on his right foot and ribs. The long hours of Hairy Bikers' Twelve Days of Christmas are featured on BBC2, December 16, 2009.
The new six series series titled The Hairy Bikers: Mums Know Best started broadcasting in early January 2010 on BBC2.
On October 25, 2010 the new 40 episode series, The Hairy Bikers' Cook Off , was launched on BBC2. This program includes cooking between two families and celebrity guests.
From January to May 2010, Hairy Bikers performed their "Big Night Out" performances in cinemas across the UK. Directed by Bob Mortimer, the show was a fun mix between cooking and chatting with a few songs and dances. They explore their youth, how they meet and their love for food. In October 2010, Hairy Bikers was a guest on the TV series BBC Genius hosted by comedian Dave Gorman.
In June 2011, Bikers appeared in the second series of Mum Knows Best . The series, consisting of eight episodes, features three 'Star Mums' whose recipes are tested and shared publicly. In addition, one episode featured the world's famous 'pie village', Denby Dale, where Denby Dale Pie Company is headquartered.
October 2011 saw a new series, Meals on Wheels , broadcast on BBC2. The series puts forward a campaign to save on 'local food on wheels' services around the UK.
From November to December 2011, Bikers appeared in the 30-part BBC series called Hairy Bikers: Best of British, airing at 3:45 pm on BBC2 (regardless of the final week of the event, which aired on BBC1). The series celebrates British recipes and fights for local products. As of January 2012, continuing through February, BBC2 shows long version hours including recipes from various series episodes.
After they signed a new contract with the BBC in 2011, a new series was commissioned. The Bikers Boolers' Bakeation saw them on a gastronomic journey, saw cakes all over Europe, from Norway, the Low Countries (Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg), Germany, Eastern Europe (Slovakia, Hungary and Romania), Austria , Italian, and French to Spanish.
In March 2012, Good Food commissioned The Hairy Bikers' Mississippi Adventure , the first duo series for the channel. UKTV gives a description of the series: "In this best food and music pilgrimage, the ever-popular Hairy Bikers will return to the saddle as they explore the length of the iconic Mississippi River in America in pursuit of delicious soul food roots and southern Music." The series will be produced by Mentorn Media and the first interactive iOS app Bikers, also produced by Mentorn, will be released to accompany this series.
In August 2012, Hairy Dieters: How to Liked Food and Lose Weight shows how Hairy Bikers' lifestyle radically changed, but remained faithful to their love of good food, as they embarked on a campaign to lose two-and-a-half stones (15.8 kg (35 pounds)) in three months, and comfortably past their target weight.
In August 2012, Myers appeared on Channel 4's Countdown in the corner of the dictionary, and again in January 2013.
Myers took part in the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing, partnering with Karen Hauer. On November 10, 2013 she is the sixth celebrity to be eliminated from the contest.
In September 2016, the couple aired The Hairy Bikers - Chicken & amp; Eggs on the BBC 2. The show features couples cycling across Europe, America and the Middle East to find the best chicken and egg recipe. Six episodes featured Britain, France, Morocco, the US and Israel.

American version
History Channel released an American version of the show starring Paul Patranella and Bill Allen. The show aired for 10 episodes and was faked in an episode of South Park titled "A History Channel Thanksgiving".
