Barry James Meguiar (born July 24, 1942) in Pasadena, California is the host of the Mad Car Gear Series Velocity Discovery, and President Meguiar's, Inc., a California-based car care company founded in 1901.

Frank Meguiar Jr., Barry's grandfather, founded Meguiar's Inc. in his garage in Indiana in 1901. In 1913, Frank moved the business to Southern California, where the family focused on making products for the professional market. Barry's father, Malcolm Meguiar, and his two brothers run a family business in 1950. Barry's involvement in Meguiar began in elementary school and continued throughout the lecture where he served as a one-man accounting department making $ 600,000 in annual gross sales.
After graduating college, Barry oversaw the company's relationship with GM, Ford and Chrysler and managed sales in the Eastern part of the United States. After four years, Meguiar's Inc. launched its first consumer product, Meguiar's Liquid Cleaner Wax, at the 1973 APAA Show in Chicago.
Barry leads a grassroots program to sell his products at auto shows, which grew into an international marketing campaign that became the backbone of what made Meguiar a global brand.

In the mid-1990s, car and car club shows suffered and declined in number with an aging population. With a passion for promoting and growing hobbies, Barry created "Mad Cars," a television show for automotive enthusiasts who showcased interviews with celebrities and other "mad car" enthusiasts. Soon after his debut in August 2000, Barry created a radio show of the same name, which mimics a television show and is syndicated to about 100 stations across the US by Talk America Radio Networks.
Successfully reviving a car hobby in the next generation, TV Shows "Mad Cars" stands as the longest show on Fox's Speed ​​Channel, an all-motorsports network since 1995. In 2010, Barry contracted a rare virus during the filming of his show "Car Crazy" outside of America. She was hospitalized, where she spent the next 17 days in critical care. Barry was diagnosed with a strange viral pneumonia strain and placed in a coma that triggered a life-threatening war. As Barry's staff prepare for the news of his death, Barry made a dramatic recovery in 24 hours of intensive care and his illness subsided as quickly as it had spread.
Religion and service
In 1973, Barry met a man with a passion for leading people in the Christian faith and immediately wanted to experience the same joy as he experienced in his own life. In 1976, Barry believed that his business was his pulpit and in 2000, embraced a vision for a ministry that encouraged others to share their faith.
Barry attributes his recovery from his illness in 2010 as the day he received a marching order from God for the rest of his life. In 2011, Barry founded Revival Outside the Walls, a ministry dedicated to bringing purpose and joy to followers of Jesus Christ.

Revival Outside the Walls (ROTW) was founded by Barry Meguiar in 2011 as a non-clerical, lay ministry. ROTW serves as an evangelical Christian organization that operates in relation to the traditional church. ROTW has a mission to serve more resources than service and is dedicated to providing tools for intentional sharing of faith. ROTW has 60 second radio segments, "60 seconds Recharge," and displays video resources to support evangelistic needs. The latest guests featured on the website include Brent Garrison, Director of CEO Relations at the CEO Forum, and Dr. James Dobson, Founder of Christian Family Talk radio channel.
