Prithvi or Prithvi Points â ⬠<â ⬠(Sanskrit: ??????, p? thv? p? thiv? ) "The Vast One" is the Sanskrit name for the earth and the name of a god (goddess) in Hinduism and some branches of Buddhism. He is also known as Bh? Mi. She is the queen of both Vishnu and Dyaus Pita.
Like P? Thv? M? T? ("Mother Earth") he is a complement to Dyaus Pita ("Father Sky"). At Rgveda , Earth and Sky are mainly discussed in dual as Dyavap? Thivi. He deals with cows. Prithu, the incarnation of Vi ?? u, squeeze it in cow.
He is a national personification in Indonesia, where he is known as Mother Earth.

In Buddhist texts and visual representations, P? Thv? described as protecting Gautama Buddha and as a witness for his enlightenment. Prithvi appears in Early Buddhism at P? Li Canon, dumped the figure of Mara's temptation by proving the worthiness of Buddha Gautama to achieve enlightenment. The Buddha often described doing bh? Mispar? A or mudr "touched the earth"? as a symbolic prayer from the goddess.
