Bringing Bates (stylized as Br1n9ing Up Bates ) is an American reality television show on Up TV. It is centered around Gil and Kelly Jo Bates and their 19 children. Gil and Kelly Jo were married on December 19, 1987, when they were 22 and 21. Since then, they have had 9 boys and 10 girls, all of whom were born between 1988 and 2012.
